BEZERO CARBON
The Open Carbon Protocol (OCP) is a collaborative registry platform, partnering with stakeholders across the industry to create peer reviewed, transparent methodologies. We provide the platform for users to add layers of trust to their methodologies and projects - and BeZero, a carbon rating agency, provides high levels of trust via project, methodology and sector frameworks and ratings.

OCP Experts Gain Access to BeZero's Insights and Ratings
As part of the partnership between the Open Carbon Protocol and BeZero Carbon, our voting expert panelists, who are tasked with reviewing and approving methodologies proposed on the OCP, will now gain full access to BeZero’s Comprehensive Ratings and In-Depth Sector Insights.
This will equip experts with all relevant information in order to strengthen their capacity to identify and address potential issues with various project types, ensuring methodologies meet and exceed industry standards. This collaboration ensures stakeholders - from developers to buyers - can trust that methodologies are vetted with the highest standards of accountability and precision.

HOW IT WILL WORK
Eligible experts on one of our methodology expert panels will receive an email with instructions on how to sign up to the BeZero platform, as well as information about how to find information on relevant sectors, methodologies and projects. They’ll also be able to set up a quick demo if they need more guidance on getting started.
Each member of our expert community brings their own perspectives and ideas to the methodology development process, but the BeZero platform will allow them to round out their knowledge, especially comparing the methodology under review with similar and complementary ones already on the market. By looking at strengths and weaknesses in projects, and how this relates to project ratings, they’ll be able to use best practices and draw on learnings from other methodologies and sectors to help craft a methodology working to the highest standard.
